I'm not a big fan of the BC2 multiplayer. I like smaller infantry combat. BC2 is more of a total war combat setting with all types of vehicles (which I hate) on ginormous maps (which I hate).

MW2 wasn't a total fail at all in my book. The only really annoying thing is painkiller. All the other things can be countered pretty easily.

I agree that some things are unrealistic and annoying such as painkiller. However, COD has never been a realistic game. It's more of an arcadey-shooter and if you're going into expecting realism, you're going to be disappointed. Sometimes you just have to sacrifice realism for better gameplay aspects such as respawns.

Bullets don't chase you around corners, that's all in your kill-cam perception. This is a result of client-side hit detection and you being on a bad host. The host has 0 ping and it takes no time for his bullets to travel. While you may think you were around the corner on the kill-cam, you were still in front of the person killing you on their screen.

Hitmarkers are not a problem in my eyes. Each player spawns with 100 health. If you're using a SCAR and hit them up close it does 40 damage. If you're using stopping power, it's 1.4x and a hit to the head with is also 1.4x damage which = 112 which will kill them. However, if you hit them in the body which is 1.0x damage multiplier that = 96 so you're still going to need another shot to kill them.

While I don't agree with the addition of Commando, it's easily countered. They have to get within a reasonable (10ft you'd say) range to kill you? By this time, you should have already killed them.

I don't really think the weapons are overpowered. This isn't Unreal Tournament unrealistic. Bullets are going to kill you. You shouldn't be able to take 5 bullets to the back just to be able to turn around and kill someone.

What I meant with Hitmarkers is with the Intervention and the Barrett. I will get and Hitmarker with the Intervention and get killed by 3 bullets of a Scar.

Exactly BC2 you get hitmarkers on that to but its not like you get killed so quick by assault rifles or effin UMP's.

Long range with the Intervention without stopping power and a hit to the chest does 75 damage which would result in a hitmarker. Give me the specifics on what hitmarkers you got with the distance and perks.

Alright, that would be 50 damage x1.4 x1.0 = 120. That should kill on a good server. Remember, FMJ doesn't increase damage (no matter what the in-game chart says). It only allows you to shoot through objects.

I just use the .50 cal now. I barely get hitmarkers with it. The Intervention is only for sniper lobbies now.

Yeah same here, it also takes more skill in BC2, the maps are alot bigger and there is always an enemy sniper out there somewhere spotting for you. So much more realistic imo.

I sniped a lot when the demo was out, and I enjoyed it much more than in MW2. The large maps made the game feel much more realistic to me.
