Why do we play MW2?

I have seen so many threads on other forums about and the majority of people preferring COD4 to MW2. People I have asked all agree with me when I say COD4 is a better game, COD4 is so much better in so many ways imho. Then, why the hell do we keep playing it??

My friends play it every single night, my PSN buddies play it every single night yet some of them even have comments like"F*** MW2" and "MW2 is S***". I myself play it most nights and I have no idea why.

So why do we play it??

My answer is that MW2 is addicting like drugs. Although I cant hate it I cant stop.

Because it's the best MP game out there and the reason we still play it is because the pros outweigh the cons. Sure there may be some annoying things in the game, but it doesn't change the fact that the rest of the game is epic.

The Single Player and the Spec Ops is what is epic. The Pros dont outwiegh the cons but thats just me. The only way I have fun is Private Matches.

BTW Call of Duty 4 was the best Multiplayer game ever IMO..

I think its a pretty good game, just dont play it for long amounts at a time

I would agree with him too, I don't really know why I play the game. The only reason I can think of is to play with my clan, PSN friends, and IRL friends. I have alot of fun chatting to them!

I dont in any way thank it is good. The multiplayer anyways. I play it because I cant stop I want to but cant.

Alright, so you have fun playing private matches with your friends...

isn't that the point of a game? To have fun?

Well I dont see why I cant have fun playing public that is my problem. Public matches are the main attraction so why are Private matches way more fun?

I don't know either. Maybe Private matches are your thing. All that really matters if you have FUN playing the game and you admitted that. Now I'm not sure if I can recall a game that I had FUN playing but didn't like.

The point is if I ever go in public matches I want to break my disk which makes me dislike it. If I go in Private i have fun. Let me put it this way I hate online Public matches but like the game beside online multiplayer. You happy :p
